Perfect cozy getaway

What a fantastic escape! We stayed in a King Room Garden View, where the sunsets were just ridiculously beautiful. The social hour with wine and snacks was a blast, connecting with other guests was really nice. Just wish the breakfast timings could've been a bit more flexible. Overall, such a lovely spot to chill out!

From the first moment, we were enchanted by the beautiful woodwork and expansive windows that framed the serene surroundings. The hospitality of Dave and Trudy was unparalleled, making every moment feel special. We loved winding down at the nightly wine and cheese hour, which fostered delightful conversations and laughter. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind under the stars after a day of exploring the tranquil trails on the property.

The only slight drawback was the minor challenge of coordinating meal times, as we sometimes wished for a more flexible schedule. However, the delicious breakfast spread made it worth the wait.

The breathtaking views from the Secret Garden room, featuring private patio access, were a significant highlight, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery over Lake Wisconsin. The friendly dogs added a heartwarming touch to the experience, making me feel at home. While breakfast was a delightful affair, the meal timing was slightly rigid, which occasionally disrupted the flow of the morning. Furthermore, some outdoor activities were limited during cooler weather, which may have affected plans to enjoy the property fully.

Check-in process felt sluggish!!! Brighten up the exterior at night to avoid stumbling in the dark!!! A bit more transparency about the presence of dogs would be appreciated.

This place was a strong match for a brief stopover in Baraboo with good price value. I really enjoyed the cozy fire pit in the evenings, it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Definitely check out the hot tub to relax under the stars.
